This product is suitable for bathrooms and toilet areas where a fully integrated look is desired. The tileable door makes the product ideal for new construction and renovation projects where the wall finish is continued around the holder. Applicable in any (stud) wall with sufficient recess depth.
Material and durability
The product is made of stainless steel (RVS) with a brushed bronze copper PVD coating. PVD is a physical vapor deposition process that provides an extremely hard, wear-resistant layer that is resistant to moisture, cleaning agents, and daily use. Note: due to the complex manufacturing process, the back of the product may show slight streaks – this will not be visible after installation and does not affect quality.
Practical tips
- Maximum tile thickness for the tileable door is 12 mm – keep this in mind when choosing materials.
- Required recess in the (stud) wall: minimum 155 mm wide, 687 mm high, and 126 mm deep.
- Apply silicone sealant to the back of the flange before placement; temporarily secure with stainless steel nails or screws.
- Tile the wall around the recessed box with approximately 2 mm clearance from the upright flange.
- After tiling, apply silicone sealant between the flange and the tiling for a watertight connection.
- After the sealant has cured (approx. 24 hours), the recessed niche is ready for use.
- Set the desired opening direction of the door before assembly.
