Litokol Starlike EVO is a two-component epoxy grout, here in Avorio (200) colour. The coloured paste and hardener are together in one bucket. You can use it to grout ceramic, porcelain stoneware, and mosaic, and the same product can also be used as tile adhesive.
Colour & ambiance
Avorio (200) is ivory—warm white with a yellow core. It suits classic tiling and terracotta, where pure white can quickly look too harsh.
Product & application
Starlike EVO is intended for joints from 1 to 15 mm, on floors and walls, indoors and outdoors. The cured joint is non-absorbent and stain-resistant. The colour comes from sintered quartz beads that are coloured on the surface, meaning no pigment is left on the tile and cleaning is easier.
- Ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and single or double-fired tiles
- Ceramic and glass mosaic
- Large-format tiles and thin laminated stoneware slabs
- Marble, granite, natural stone, and reconstituted stone
- Terracotta and clinker
- Wet rooms, showers, swimming pools, fountains, spas, and hammams
- Terraces, balconies, facades, and floors with heavy traffic
For natural stone, polished porcelain stoneware, and porous materials, the manufacturer recommends always making a test joint first. This determines whether the material absorbs the resin or is difficult to clean. Tuscan terracotta and other porous items such as concrete kerbstones are outside the scope of application.
Substrate & compatibility
As a grout, apply Starlike EVO to joints that are clean, dust-free, and open to the full tile thickness. First, check that the tile adhesive is completely dry and cured. If using it as an adhesive, the substrate must be clean, load-bearing, crack-free, and free from rising damp.
- Screeds and levelling layers
- Concrete and plasterwork
- Underfloor heating
- Waterproofing layers, including Coverflex and Aquamaster EVO
- Metal substrates, for example in prefabricated bathrooms
- Wooden kitchen countertops with tiles or mosaic
Butt joints without space are not allowed, and plastic tile spacers must be removed before grouting. For the elastic sealing of expansion, corner, and connection joints, do not use epoxy grout but a sealant from the Pixel 3D line.
Application
Cut open the hardener sachet and empty it completely into the bucket containing part A; roll up the sachet to ensure nothing is left behind. Mix with a slow-speed mixer at approximately 300 rpm until a creamy, lump-free mass is obtained, and scrape the sides and bottom of the bucket afterwards. Manual mixing is not recommended.
- Apply between +10 °C and +30 °C, optimally between +18 °C and +23 °C
- Approximately 60 minutes working time in the bucket at +23 °C
- Apply with a rubber float, diagonally to the joint direction
- Clean while the product is fresh: first with white felt, then with a damp sponge
- Walkable after 24 hours, fully loadable after 5 days, swimming pools after 7 days
Remove haze and residue from the tile after approximately 24 hours using Litonet EVO for floors or Litonet Gel EVO for walls. After this, the product can only be removed mechanically. Do not apply if the temperature will drop below +10 °C within 24 hours, protect the work from direct sunlight and strong drafts for the first 12 hours, and do not cover the fresh joint—wait 48 to 72 hours before placing breathable material over it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I also use Starlike EVO as tile adhesive? Yes. You spread it out with the smooth side of the trowel to about 1 mm and then comb it up with the notched side. Grouting can be done after about 24 hours.
How long do I have after mixing? Approximately 60 minutes at +23 °C. In warm weather, this will be faster, so quickly spread the product over the floor instead of leaving it in the bucket.
What if I remove residues too late? After curing, epoxy can only be removed mechanically. Therefore, remove hazes within approximately 24 hours using Litonet EVO for floors or Litonet Gel EVO for walls.
Can I clean the grouted floor with bleach? No. The manufacturer advises against bleach: insufficient dilution or rinsing can cause the grout to yellow, which is especially noticeable on light colours. Also, do not use aggressive cleaners for the first five days.
